2. Products

Stand spaces for the Ink & Oil Tattoo Convention can be purchased on the website.

Optional add-ons may also be offered, such as:

  • work table
  • massage table
  • other relevant equipment options

Additional options may be added continuously.

3. Prices

All prices on the website are stated in EUR and exclude VAT.

As the event takes place in Denmark, Danish VAT (25%) will be added at checkout in accordance with applicable Danish law.

The total price including VAT will be clearly displayed before payment is completed.

The organizer reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.

4. Payment

Payment for stand spaces and any add-ons is made online via Stripe.

The following payment methods are accepted:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • other payment cards supported by Stripe

Payment is charged upon completion of the booking.

All amounts are charged in EUR, and 25% Danish VAT is added at payment.

Any fees from the card issuer or currency conversion are borne by the buyer.

5. Booking

Once a stand is purchased via the website, the booking is considered binding.

You will receive a confirmation email after payment is completed.

6. Right of Withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal when purchasing a stand space for the convention.

This is because it concerns the purchase of a spot at a specific event on a fixed date.

7. Cancellation or Changes

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event, including stand placement, schedule, and practical arrangements.

If the event is cancelled, all participants will be informed.

8. Liability

The organizer cannot be held liable for indirect losses, loss of operations, or other consequential damages related to participation in the event.

9. Governing Law

Any disputes are settled under Danish law.

Supplementary Terms for Artists and Exhibitors
(Ink & Oil Tattoo Convention)

10. General Requirements for Participants

All artists and exhibitors participating in the Ink & Oil Tattoo Convention are responsible for complying with applicable laws, including health and hygiene regulations in Denmark.

The organizer reserves the right to reject participants who do not comply.

11. Hygiene and Health Regulations

All tattoo artists must work in accordance with applicable hygiene and health regulations.

This includes, among other things:

  • use of sterile needles
  • proper disposal of sharps and waste
  • use of gloves and protective equipment
  • proper cleaning of the workstation

Tattoo artists are responsible for bringing necessary equipment for hygiene and safe tattooing.

The organizer may require work to stop at any time if hygiene standards are not met.

12. Responsibility for Tattoos

All tattoos performed during the convention are carried out solely at the tattoo artist’s own responsibility.

The organizer cannot be held liable for:

  • tattoo quality
  • complications
  • infections
  • customer complaints
  • legal disputes between artist and client

The tattoo artist is responsible for obtaining informed consent from clients.

13. Age Requirement

Tattoo artists may not tattoo individuals under the age of 18.

Valid photo ID may be required.

Violation may result in immediate expulsion without refund.

14. Insurance

All participating tattoo artists and exhibitors are responsible for having relevant insurance.

This may include:

  • professional liability insurance
  • equipment insurance
  • personal injury insurance

The organizer is not responsible for damage, theft, or loss of equipment.

15. Responsibility for Equipment

All participants are responsible for their own equipment, inventory, and products.

The organizer cannot be held responsible for:

  • theft
  • damage
  • loss of equipment

It is recommended to keep valuable equipment supervised.

16. Subcontractors and Guest Artists

Exhibitors may have guest artists or assistants at their stand.

However, the exhibitor is fully responsible for all individuals working under their stand.

All participants must be registered with the organizer before the event.

17. Alcohol and Conduct

Professional conduct is expected throughout the event.

The following is not permitted:

  • tattooing under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • aggressive or threatening behavior
  • irresponsible use of equipment

The organizer reserves the right to remove participants who violate these rules.

18. No-show

If an exhibitor does not show up, the stand fee will not be refunded.

The organizer reserves the right to reassign the stand space in case of absence.

19. Marketing and Photo/Video

Photos and videos may be taken during the event for marketing purposes.

By participating, artists and exhibitors accept that photos and videos may be used for:

  • social media
  • websites
  • promotion of future events

20. Force Majeure

The organizer cannot be held liable for cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond their control.

This may include:

  • natural disasters
  • pandemics
  • government restrictions
  • strikes
  • technical issues with the venue

21. Right to Changes

The organizer reserves the right to amend rules and terms if necessary for the execution of the event.

22. Stand Placement

Stand placement is determined solely by the organizer.

The organizer will attempt to accommodate placement requests but cannot guarantee specific locations.

Placement may change due to practical or safety reasons.

23. Setup and Breakdown

Exhibitors will have access to set up their stand at times communicated by the organizer.

All stands must be fully set up before opening to the public.

Breakdown may only begin after the official closing time of the event.

24. Power and Technical Equipment

If power is provided, it is intended only for standard tattoo equipment.

It is not permitted to use high-consumption equipment without prior approval.

The organizer may disconnect equipment deemed to pose a safety risk.

25. Sale of Products

Exhibitors may sell products related to their business unless otherwise agreed.

The organizer may restrict certain product categories to avoid direct competition between identical brands.

The organizer reserves the right to regulate sales to ensure a balanced mix of exhibitors.

26. Exclusivity and Brands

The organizer may offer exclusivity within certain product categories.

This may include:

  • tattoo machines
  • needles
  • ink brands
  • suppliers of tattoo supplies

Exclusivity agreements are made individually.

27. Competitions and Awards

Tattoo competitions may be held during the convention.

Participation follows the rules published by the organizer.

Judges’ decisions are final.

28. Marketing from Stands

Exhibitors may promote their own business at their stand.

However, it is not permitted to:

  • distribute flyers outside their own stand
  • place advertisements in common areas
  • promote competing events without approval

29. Brand Protection

The name Ink & Oil Tattoo Convention, as well as its logo and visual identity, may not be used commercially without written permission from the organizer.

30. Safety

All participants must follow the venue’s safety regulations.

Emergency exits, fire equipment, and escape routes must not be blocked.

Violations may result in removal.

31. Wristbands and Badges

All artists, assistants, and stand staff must wear issued wristbands or badges during the event.

The organizer may deny access to individuals without valid accreditation.

32. Damage to Venue

Exhibitors are responsible for any damage caused to the venue or its inventory by themselves or their staff.

Any damages may be invoiced to the exhibitor.
